More deep and slamming house music from Canadian artist Rennie Foster here. Two fresh original tracks and a duo of deft remixes for the title track, Get Up Get Out, on his signature RF label. Blurring the lines between minimal and melodic, classic house elements contrast with crunchy percussion and a lo-fi warehouse techno aesthetic on both tracks with the b-side cut Turf Science sounding the more Detroit influenced of the pair. The first remix of Get Up Get Out comes from Code3 QR artist Jules Wells who delivers a powerful and playable breakbeat house version that is sure to get some heavy DJ usage. Legendary Chicago techno artist Angel Alanis, along with production partner Maria Goetz, give us a strong cyclic minimal techno workout with unexpected changes and a developing, layered arrangement.
