“From the writing of the tracks to the rhythmic and timbre drawing up of the arrangements, looking for a colour of voice as well as the sound of a note, I have searched for my “seduction” in every nuance. I can be seduced by a leaden sky or by a skyscraper that makes my head turn if I look up to it from the bottom, by a simple look as well as by the entire city of Rio De Janeiro. Maybe this music is indeed dedicated to Rio, to its infinite beaches and to the skyscrapers of Avenida Atlantica, placed side by side with colonial districts from other centuries, and to the favelas that live together with the most innovative architectures. The percussive world is a “breath” where the lightness of a single tambourine, as well as a roll on the drums with brushes scan the passing of time with the elegance of the gesture.”
